Golf'n Gals Supports Women's Health

Northern Lights and Centennial Pines are celebrating another successful year of Golf’n Gals! Every year, proceeds from their Golf’n Gals nights are directed to the Linda Buchan Centre for Breast Screening and Assessment. “It’s our Golf’n Gals night, so it made sense to direct our proceeds to something related to women’s health. We have a great group here who loves to golf and socialize, and raising money for a worthy cause makes it even better,” explained Jocelyn Kachur, one of the organizers. “We’ve done this event for several years and are always thrilled with the support we receive from our players. Cancer touches everyone and it is great knowing that our fundraising dollars are staying right here at home to support healthcare in Northwestern Ontario.”
Including their $3,000 contribution this year, Golf’n Gals has raised $10,500 for the Linda Buchan Centre, and are helping to make hope possible for residents of Northwestern Ontario
