Police Association Raffle Funds Exceptional Cancer Care
July 25, 2018
Once again, the Thunder Bay Police Association is running their annual summer raffle in support of the Northern Cancer Fund. “Everyone in our community has been touched by cancer at some point,” said raffle organizer and retired police officer Mike Burns. “As an Association we feel that it is an important cause to fundraise for, and we believe in local people supporting local health care. Every little bit helps and the Thunder Bay Police Association is proud of our ongoing support of the Northern Cancer Fund.”
Every year, the Thunder Bay Police Association Golf Tournament dinner ends with the raffle of two tickets anywhere WestJet flies, courtesy of WestJet. “The tournament is for current and former police officers, but the raffle is open to anyone in the community. We sell among our members and we also sell tickets through the Donation Centre at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, and all members of the public are welcome to purchase a ticket.”
Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5, and the winner does not have to be present at the draw on August 21. Grand prize is 2 tickets anywhere WestJet flies, with a second prize of a $500 pre-paid VISA Gift Card, donated by Brokerlink Canada. Lottery Licence #M806971.
