Raffaele Tassone, owner of Raffaele’s Tailoring, is a local businessman, well-known in the community for the high customer service he provides and his expertise in tailoring. Raffaele is highly trusted by customers within the community. Raffaele makes you feel special the second you walk in the door, understanding his client’s needs and ensuring they feel confident by the time they leave . With almost 40 years of experience in the industry, Raffaele and his team, Kayleen and Mira, offer full tailoring services from providing alterations as well as custom order suits and dresses.
Although Raffaele specializes in tailoring, he has recently added a new product to his storefront at his Tungsten Street location. The shop has introduced different types of headwear available for cancer patients undergoing treatment. There are various hats, scarves and caps available, made out of high quality fabrics to ensure style and comfort. Raffaele, like many of us, has been affected by cancer. He has seen many friends and family members close to him go through cancer treatment, and introduced the cancer hats to ensure members of the community undergoing treatment have access to high quality headwear.
Raffaele has decided to donate a percentage of each piece of headwear sold to the Northern Cancer Fund through the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation. Raffaele knows the importance of giving back, “I was inspired to do this because I have seen many people close to me suffer through cancer. I am happy to give back to an important cause, supporting cancer care in our community and ensuring that those close to us receive the best care possible”.
