‘Share a Heart'

Thunder Bay residents can make their gift extra special this Valentine's Day!
‘Share a Heart’ is a new heart-warming fundraising event running in conjunction with Valentine’s Day to support the Northern Cardiac Fund.
Four local florists have created special floral arrangements for Valentine’s Day called ‘Share a Heart’ and have generously offered to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each arrangement to the Northern Cardiac Fund to support cardiac care in our community.
The Northern Cardiac Fund raises funds that are 100% dedicated to supporting excellence in cardiac care in Northwestern Ontario by providing funds for programs, services and specialized equipment to treat cardiac patients in our community without having to leave the region.
Four local florists including Bloomers and the Brownhouse, From the Heart Florist, Rollason Flowers, and Vaillant Florist have used their creative abilities to create unique floral arrangements to support the fundraising event. The florists were enthusiastic to support the event and some had personal links to heart disease including Jim and Josy Vaillant from Vaillant Florist who are proud supporters of Share a Heart as both Jim's father and grandfather suffered from heart disease.

A special Share a Heart tag will be added to each arrangement to indicate your generosity in choosing flowers that support the Northern Cardiac Fund. Your loved ones will get beautiful flowers and you’ll share your love with our entire community by supporting world-class cardiac care.
A fifth florist, Grower Direct, will be donating 10% from every gift card they sell - of any denomination!
