The Lakehead University Thunderwolves men's hockey team is gearing up for a meaningful game night. On Friday, January 31st, they will host a special jersey auction during their game at Fort William Gardens to support a cause close to home. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Our Hearts at Home Campaign, which aims to bring cardiovascular surgery to Thunder Bay. This initiative will ensure residents have access to life-saving procedures without the need to travel far, making a significant difference for families in the region.

The game begins at 7:00 pm against the Brock Badgers, with the auction taking place throughout the night. Fans in attendance can bid on exclusive, game-worn jerseys designed specifically for the event. Since 2008, the Thunderwolves have raised $37,827.51 for various local initiatives, continuing their tradition of giving back to the community.

Tickets for the game are $15.50 for adults and $10.50 for students, offering attendees not only a high-energy hockey experience but also a chance to support an important cause. Don't miss this exciting evening of sport, community spirit, and meaningful impact. Cheer on the Thunderwolves while contributing to a campaign that brings hope and life-saving care to Thunder Bay.
