St. Pius Students raise $350 for the Northern Cancer Fund
Upon finding out their teacher Mrs. Syrek, at St. Pius school was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year, grade 5 and 6 students wanted to do something to make a difference. The students worked together to come up with some ideas to raise money for the Northern Cancer Fund, and decided to sell Persians.
Persian Sales were held in February and May, and a total of $350 was donated to the Fund.
