At the recent Tbaytel Motorcycle Ride for Dad held on June 15th, attendees were moved by Dr. Walid Shahrour's inspiring speech.
While highlighting the Urology department's advancements in prostate care, Dr. Shahrour shared a poignant story. He recounted the case of a seemingly healthy 59-year-old patient who had ignored earlier signs of back pain, which ultimately lead to a delayed diagnosis of metastatic prostate cancer. The weight of having to deliver such a devastating diagnosis emphasized his urgent plea for early detection.
