The Co-Operators Bachelors for Hope Charity Auction Now Online
Our world has changed significantly in the past several months. With in-person events no longer possible at this time, the Co-Operators Bachelors for Hope Charity Auction has been moved to an online auction with amazing "date packages" in support of exceptional, local breast cancer care.
The auction will begin on May 21st, with more details coming soon.
While the event is changing, the cause remains the same.
Many of us are struggling with this 'new reality' due to the COVID-19 pandemic; with instructions to remain at home, away from our families and friends.
For patients with breast cancer, the reality of this pandemic has added an even greater and unimaginable layer of stress to an already difficult time. The people that surround patients as they're going through chemo or radiation have been suddenly cut off. While virtual visits can raise spirits, we all know they're not the same as hugging someone in person or the sense of relief that comes with a pre-cooked meal delivered with love.
Now, more than ever, our Cancer Centre and the breast cancer patients who are treated here, need your help. Cancer doesn't stop in the face of a pandemic and neither will we. Our healthcare professionals are some of the most caring people you will ever meet and they continue to provide exceptional cancer care, giving hope in this bleak time.
